Koroneiki olives from our grove on the Zakros plateau, 230 metres above the Libyan Sea. Picked by hand in November and milled cold the same day. Acidity 0.5%.
Tasting
Green almond and cut grass on the nose. Soft at first, then a clean pepper at the back of the throat.
In the kitchen
Raw over tomatoes, bread, grilled fish and beans. Good on its own, and it holds up to heat.
